This is the part I like, the AUTOMETER gauges are mounted. This is the drivers view, I placed all of the gauges on the tunnel because I don't have a clear view of them on the steering shaft, also you never have the time to watch the gauges during the run. |
Hear are the same gauges from the passengers view. I mounted a power outlet for my tow light. The amber light will be plugged in and placed on the roof of race car during towing. |
It's simple, clean. and should do the job just fine. It's all about a day of fun at the track. |
Race day! Well Project 280z did make it out to the track on race day, it just never got unbolted from the tow truck. |
I arrived at the track first thing in the morning, ready to get my ride running, only to find a lack of hydraulic fluid in the master clutch cylinder. |
My custom exhaust pipe sure looks large in diameter, but it never felt the hot exhaust of the engine on race day. |
Many folks did walk by Project 280z to take a closer look and made comments about the car being "all business". |
Yet being all business, or pleasure, the drivers seat did not see any action this day. Clutch and fuel problems would not allow the car to run. |
Regardless, any day at the track, driving or not was fun to say the least. |
